Doña Ana Soil and Water Conservation District Mill Levy for land, water, and natural resources conservation: Shall the duly elected Doña Ana Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors establish a levy of up to 0.25 mills to: protect drinking water sources and the health of rivers and streams by improving stormwater and floodplain management; reduce the risk of flooding by improving the watersheds and range lands above dams; continuing work on lowering the heat index by planting trees (DASWCD NeighborWoods) in Las Cruces and Doña Ana County; restore wildlife habitat, including along the R DOÑA ANA SOIL & WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT
